Comrade Coco Bassey:
“The Man we are out to work for is someone with a very good heart, humble, God-fearing, goal getter, silent achiever, meticulous and focused but most worthy of note, is that he is of the founding fathers and has remained very committed to the unity and sustainance of our dear Party (PDP) since 1999. He (Gershom) has patiently followed the navigation of the Party and Government of CRS under the watch of HE Donald Duke, HE Sen Liyel Imoke and the incumbent HE Sen. Prof Ben Ayade, this and numerous of his contributions even currently as a ranking Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is enough to say Gershom Bassey Carry Go. So this Movement is a great one, let us, like the political three wise men of CRS, build structures and let our faces shine for the world to see that it is what our principal and his friends did. That is what I have learnt from him”.

“This course is based on friendship, our future is now. Sen. Gershom Bassey is the people’s general. Having known and worked with him for some few number of years, I can say he is a good man and Cross River State can only get better with him”.
On his part, Hon. Prof Ben Ayade even as he noted that all hands would be on deck to ensure a successful outing towards seeing Sen. Gershom Bassey sworn-in as Governor of Cross River State come May, 2023.
