Cross River Daily brings report of Cross River State Universal Education Board, CR-SUBEB, calling for on-line applications for teaching and security jobs.
This call is contained in a memo signed by Chairman of the Board, Dr. Stephen Odey and made available to Cross River Daily.
According to the memo, interested Cross Riverians with NCE or B.Ed. certificates are to apply under the teaching category while those with SSCE are to apply under the security category.
The memo further advised interested applicants to log into the board’s recruitment portal at www.crsubeb.com, which will open for registration on Tuesday 18th September, 2018 and close on Tuesday, 9th October, 2018.
“For purposes of clarification, candidates who had earlier applied for employment and had written the aptitude test conducted by the Board in 2016 are expected to revalidate their applications by registering for the recruitment exercise. The essence of this is for the Board to eliminate those who have secured other jobs during this period and to determine those who are still interested in the recruitment.
“Candidates should indicate clearly whether they are applying as teaching staff or as security men.
“Prospective applicants are reminded that their certificates will be subjected to intensive scrutiny and verification exercise and those found to have tendered forged documents will be handed over to the security Agencies for investigation and prosecution.
“The recruitment process will be in line with what is obtainable in the public service of Cross River State.
“Only qualified candidates will be communicated to through their email addresses and contact lines to appear for screening and oral interview on a date to be determined in due course.
“Applicants are advised to be wary of fraudsters who may want to exploit this avenue to extort money from very anxious and unsuspecting candidates. Please be informed that the Board is not collecting any amount of money for the recruitment exercise. Members of the public should be guided accordingly,” the memo said.
